Very passionate about Lower Shore clients and the organization’s goals.
Bevereley loves the Miami Dolphins and Boston Red Sox, and she enjoys spending time with her family, especially during the summer months at Treasure Beach near Fenwick.
Bevereley is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina and currently resides in Salisbury, Maryland.

Dr Ken Smith
Biography
Ken Smith is the UHY, LLC Professor and Chair of the Accounting & Legal Studies Department at Salisbury University. Ken joined SU in 1992 after serving as the Arthur Andersen Chair of Accounting at Towson University. He has a Doctorate in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy from George Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ken has been an active scholar with authorship on over 125 academic and professional publications. He has received numerous teaching and research awards over the course of his career. His avocational interests include physical fitness, nutrition, sports, reading, music, and motorcycling. Ken views his service on the LSE Board as an opportunity to give back to the community and do good for individuals who deserve a chance to thrive and prosper.
Dr Anne Anderson
Carl Cottingham
Biography
Mr. Cottingham received his AA at the University of Delaware in 1979, his BS from Salisbury State University in 1982 in Business Administration and Marketing concentration, and his MBA in 1983. He is an adjunct professor for the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University since 1985 teach at least 4 courses each year. Work history includes Senior Loan officer and Executive Vice President for the Bank of Delmarva since 1991 and more recently Regional President of LINKBANK.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS include Westminster Presbyterian Church Member, Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, Lower Shore Enterprises Board Member, and the Salisbury School Educational Foundation Bd. Member
Renee Smith
Biography
Mrs. Smith has a BSW from Salisbury and an MSW from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She has worked in mental health/addictions, Coastal Hospice, and has been an adjunct at Salisbury University for 10 years teaching social work. Renee also serves on the advisory Board of the College of Health and Human Services at Salisbury University.
Jeronna Truitt-Smith
Biography
Jerrona Smith received her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University in Delaware. Prior to that, she studied at the University of Phoenix, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management.
Jerrona has traveled extensively across the country during her husband’s enlistment with the United States Navy. In 2004 while stationed in Groton,Connecticut, she was introduced to the CASA [Court Appointed Special Advocates] program. Jerrona developed a deep connection with the purpose of serving abused and neglected children and youth. Jerrona served in various roles from: volunteer, staff support, director, and now Regional Director for Lower Shore CASA, which serves children across Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester Counties. Lower Shore CASA is also an affiliate of Life Crisis Center.
Jerrona and her husband reside and walk by faith in Wicomico County, Maryland; where they have two adult daughters, one grandson, and a grand-dog.
Avery Saulsbury
Biography
Avery Saulsbury received his BS at Salisbury State College (now Salisbury University) in 1965, and his MS from Morgan State College (now Morgan State University) in 1973. He taught at Harford County Public Schools, Maryland from 1965-1974. Mr. Saulsbury retired from Salisbury University where he worked for the Registrar from 1974- 2004. In retirement, he volunteered his time at Peninsula Regional Medical Center from 2010-2021 and is a current Board member for Lower Shore Enterprise since 2022.
Donald Nelson
Biography
He has been a participant of LSE since 2004.
Mr. Nelson has been employed at Tidal Health, Peninsula Regional Lifeline Department as a Lifeline Clerk since 2004.
Donald loves to play the drums and loves the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Capitals. Don has an infectious smile, and he is always willing to help out. Donald lives with his parents and brother in Salisbury.
